Alumina reinforced ceramic grinding jar, 0.5 gallon 04162-00
Durable and reusable
Compared with traditional grinding ceramic jars, it has higher strength and anti debris performance
- Made of alumina reinforced ceramic jar
Aluminum oxide material - reinforced ceramic grinding tank is an ideal choice for general laboratory use. Compared to traditional ceramic grinding pots, this grinding pot can provide better strength and is less prone to breakage. Each grinding jar is equipped with a precision substrate and ceramic lid; Chloroprene rubber gasket and locking handle with leak proof design.
Order a top cover and place it above a single vibrating screen or at the top of a stacked vibrating screen to protect your sample from dust pollutants.

Grinding media

Can be quickly and finely ground
- Very suitable for wet or dry grinding
- Has chemical corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical impact resistance
- Non porous, non-conductive, and non-magnetic
Media with a diameter of 1 ⁄ 2 "(13 mm) and smaller are particularly suitable for dispersing liquid based samples;
A medium with a diameter of 13 ⁄ 16 "(21 mm) is the best choice for grinding dry materials and routine laboratory applications;
A medium with a diameter of 11 ⁄ 4 "(32 mm) is suitable for grinding and crushing large particle materials.
Burundum medium is more economical; But the density of zirconia medium is higher, and the grinding speed and lifespan are both about Burundum ™ Twice the size of the medium.
